Company Profile
Kentucky Society for the Protection of
Cruelty to Animals sets a standard of care
for animals that must be adhered by all our members. Each member shall
exemplify a high quality of care for all animals in their care.
KSCPA comprised of
RESCUES , HUMANE SOCIETIES, ANIMAL HOSPITALS AND SHELTERS across the state who provide a net of hope to animals who are
surrendered to a shelter or by an owner. State laws only provide a very
limited amount of time for a pet in a shelter before it's "time is
up". KSPCA. .provides the safety net to give an adoptable pet more time to
find a new home. Kentucky presently has only 80 shelters in its 120 counties.
We work together and provide assistance by providing medical care to
animals ,foster homes and adoption for pets and responding to shelter
needs throughout the state.
The majority of our members are
on Petfinder.com, a national link to helping pets find homes. In addition,
many members are 501(c)3 organizations that accept tax-deductible donations to
help provide care for pets.
